In 2005 Vitaliy graduated Mendeleev university of chemical technology of Russia, Higher
chemical college of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow. In 2007, he ended his PhD
studies at N.D. Zelinsky Institute of Organic Chemistry Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow.
The topic of his work was «Tris(pentafluorophenyl)silyl compounds as silylating and
nucleophilic reagents». In 2019, he defended his doctoral thesis on «New methods and reagents
for nucleophilic fluoroalkylation». His research interests are complete synthesis of natural
compounds, photocatalytic processes in organic synthesis, methods of obtaining organofluorine
compounds. In free time, he like gardening, hiking, kayaking, solo and choral academic vocals.
